SQL Enlight users are allowed to create their own groups and custom analysis rules. For more details see Manage Analysis Groups and Manage Analysis Rules topics.

Categories

The static analysis rules which come the default SQL Enlight analysis template are relatively grouped in three categories - Design,Performance and Naming. These rules implement common best practices and guidelines for database development and writing T-SQL code. 

There is one more category available - Explicit Rules. This group is ment to hold specific rules which are more information gathering than best practices analyzing rules. This explicit rules are also shown as commands in SQL Enlight->Static Analysis menu and can be executed separately.
