A layout template is a set of layout rules that can be stored and later reused. Templates Location shows the
location where the layout templates are stored.
Activate Layout Template
The active layout template is the layout template that holds the current layout rules.The name of the currently
active layout template is shown at the top of Options dialog. Changing the layout rules at the layout rules tab
will affect the active layout template.To change the active layout template, use the Quick Templates List
or at the Layout Templates tab select templates form the list of saved templates and use the Activate button.
Quick Templates List
The Quick Templates List is a dropdown list that can be found on the SQL Enlight Toolbar.Using the
Quick Templates List you can fast switch the active template to a another one and reformat your SQL
code with the rules of new template.
Save and Delete Layout Templates
To save the current layout rules, enter the name of the layout template and click Save. The layout template is
saved to the location displayed in Templates Location.
Deleting a layout template will make the template no more available and will delete the template file.
Note: When Default Layout Template is deleted, next time the application is started the template will be
always recreated with none layout rules active.
Reset Layout Rules
Reset button appears at the bottom-left corner of the Options dialog.Using the Reset button will discard
all changes to the active layout template since the last save.
